Being an artist has allowed me to wear countless other hats over the years, and there is a new one that I am very excited to share with you.
In January 2006, I became vice-chair for the President’s Council on Service and Civic Participation.
 Our mission is to bring the spotlight to volunteerism, rewarding those who already give of themselves and inspiring others to do so, as well.
One way to accomplish our goal is through the President’s Volunteer Service Award.
